The Dalai Lama of Tibet came to India on 31st March 1959
In the great Revolution of Cuba, Fideral Castro took power (16-02-1959)
Syria & Egypt became part of United Arab Republic on 1st February 1958

EEC(European Economic Community) was established on 1st January 1958

The first earth satellite in the world was launched by Russia on 4th October 1957

The independence of Ghana was on 6th March 1957

The control of Suez Canal was taken over by Egypt on 13th June 1956

The independence of Morocco from France occured on 1st March 1956

The famous Warsaw Pact (14-05-1955) was signed by Soviet Union and other seven East European countries  
 

The origin of West Germany was on 5th May 1955

On 5th April 1955. The British Prime Minister Churchil resigned
   
The war for independence by Algeria from France started on 31st October 1954
