Major World Events [17]



The Soviet Troops attacked Afghanistan on 27th December 1979
The US embassy in Teheran was seized by Iranian militants (04-11-1979)
Vietnam was attacked & invaded by Chinese Troops (17-02-1979)

After exiling Iran Shah, the Muslim Revolutionary forces took over the power (01-02-1979)

When the Cambodian capital Phno Penh occupied by Vietnam Pol Pot regim collapsed (07-01-1979)

At Camp David, Israel & Egypt signed the peace treaty (17-09-197
