Major World Events [16]



The nuclear nonproliferation treaty was signed by Soviet Union, US and 100 other countries (01-07-1969)
In the island of Ussuri River, Chinese & Soviet troops fighted (02-03-1969)
Warsaw Pact troops and Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia (20-08-1968)

The US Navy ship Pueblo was captured by North Korea (23-01-1968)

The first hydrogen of China was experimented on 17th June 1967
   
In the Six-day Long war Israel captured & occuped Golan Heights,Sinai Peninsula,Gaza Strip and West Bank.(06-05-1967)
   
The African country Lesotho got independence on 4th October 1966
   
The African country Botswana got independence on 30th September 1966

The African country Guyana got independence on 26th May 1966
   
The great Cultural Revolution in China started on 16th May 1966
   

France unanimously withdrew it's membership from NATO Military Structure (01-01-1966)
